Profile:

Ms. Ware is an associate in the Firm’s litigation department.  Her current practice areas include insurance defense and general civil litigation.  She has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has obtained favorable results for clients in a variety of matters including defense of personal injury litigation, premises liability litigation and business disputes.  Ms. Ware also has extensive experience defending title insurance company on claims based in negligence and fraud.  

One of Ms. Ware’s strengths is deciphering the legal and factual issues of a case and moving quickly for resolution of claims where appropriate.  She has obtained summary judgment on behalf of numerous clients, including,  several businesses sued by patrons alleging they slipped and fell on their premises; a homeowner, who was not an occupier of a home, who was sued when a young child was killed when a concrete porch on the house collapsed on the child; on behalf of  contractor,  who was sued by an employee of another contractor, who suffered extensive burns on the majority of his body when a gas explosion occurred;  and on behalf of a life insurance company who was sued by a previous beneficiary under a policy alleging that she was entitled to the proceeds of a policy because the insurance company failed to follow standard procedure when it cancelled the policy prior to the insured’s death.
